Delano’s FIRST Robotics Team 3026 “Orange Crush” has enjoyed great success over the years. In 2023 our team finished in the top 20 teams at both regional FIRST competitions in Minneapolis and Grand Forks, ND. We also participated in the off-season Central Minnesota Robotics Conference Championship 2023 in Becker, MN and made it to the semi-final round. In 2019 our team earned the highest honor of competing at the FIRST Robotics World Championships located in Detroit, MI by taking 1st place at the 10,000 Lakes Regional Competition hosted by the University of Minnesota.
Again this year 3026 has gained new esteemed team members who share our vision for an ever improving robotics experience. The FIRST program at Delano High School is growing year by year, and our members continue to learn and improve their skills in the STEM field as they prepare to face the world as the engineers of tomorrow.
We are 100% self-funded and do not receive any funding from the school. Last year all of the money required to fund the season was either raised by team member volunteer opportunities or generous donations by members of the community.
